WEATHERproducer is a sophisticated meteorological workstation and broadcast graphics system which provides weather information tailored to the needs of broadcast television stations while consolidating many real-time weather data types such as satellite, conventional and NEXRAD radar imagery, text, lightning and DIFAX information into one unified system. The unique interface gives the user the capability to tailor desktops, create folders and configure displays, resulting in a completely customized work environment. With extensive alert and event processing filters, only the most critical data reaches the desktop. The presentation system utilizes the latest technology from SGI to present highly sophisticated animation at real-time video rates.
